Description
For generations, it has been used in Ayurvedic medicines to heal various ailments such as indigestion and acidity. Since it is primarily found in the Himalayas of Nepal, it is also called by the name “Himalayan black salt”. South Asian cuisines of Nepal, India, Bangladesh and Pakistan make use of this salt in making chaats, salads, chutneys and other snacks.
