Description
Raksha Bandhan is observed on Shravan month, during full moon day. It is a Hindu festival celebrating the relationship between brothers and sisters. Sisters tie rakhis (threads) to their brothers as a symbol of protection. Rakhis are also used to celebrate other relationships between neighbors and friends.
